Introducing the Chanel Boy Bag with Handle
Categories:Other BrandsChanel is constantly churning out new bags, many of them being new takes on classic bags for the house. The Chanel Boy Bag quickly turned into a staple for the brand, with many opting for a version of the Boy Bag over the Classic Flap (I know I am more of a Boy Bag lover than Flap at the moment). While there is rendition after rendition, sometimes a new version stands out.
Introduced for Chanel’s Metiers d’Art Paris in Rome 2016 collection, the Chanel Boy Bag with Handle grabbed everyone's attention from the get-go. The Boy Bag has always had a a chain shoulder strap, that can be doubled to make the bag shorter if you choose, but this was the first time the top handle was added. I love the addition of the handle, it gives this bag a sophisticated touch but remains super cool and casual at the same time.
I reached out to Chanel to see if the Boy Bag with Handle would be made a permanent part of the collection and were told that they do not have further information at this time if this bag will be offered in future collections. If you love this bag, it was bought in 3 sizes and currently available at Chanel boutiques worldwide.

Introducing the Brand New Bottega Veneta Bucket Bag
Categories:Other Brands
A sure fire way to make me feel like I’ve been doing this for a really long time, is realizing that my first Bottega Veneta bag I bought after I started PurseBlog was in 2007 on a trip to Venice, Italy. Another way to realize we’ve grown a lot is checking out the pictures we took of that bag – those few pics were taken by Vlad and I think we can all agree his photography has also evolved quite a bit!
When I started PurseBlog, I really started delving into handbags and researching brands to learn more. I immediately fell for Bottega Veneta and the brands beautifully made products. I loved the meticulous attention to detail, the intrecciato and the beyond divine leather that’s used. I’ve been a part of not one but two special orders (here and here) and always had a very special place in my heart for the brand.
I think it’s easy to sometimes get lured away from the classics into the what’s new and trendy, but I never want to forget Bottega Veneta. A couple weeks ago, Bottega Veneta launched a new shape for the house, the Bottega Veneta Bucket Bag. Tomas Maier designed this bag with intrecciato nappa leather which is finished with smooth leather drawstrings with metal loops and chain. The bag is rather slender though the interior has plenty of space with smartphone and zip pockets and is lined in suede. Just like most bags that I love, this bag comes with an adjustable and detachable shoulder strap along with the double handles which allows for cross-body or over the shoulder wear. The Bucket Bag is available in Nero (black), Pacific (deep blue), Vesuvio (orange), and Peony (pink). The price on this bag is really reasonable especially for the quality that Bottega Veneta provides – $3,550 via Bottega Veneta and the Madison Avenue Bottega Veneta store.

Louis Vuitton Introducing New Backpack Collection
Categories:Louis Vuitton
The trend of backpacks continue to climb, in fact, it’s so popular that Louis Vuitton decided to launch an entire new line. Obviously, they couldn’t ignore the fact that, backpacks have become hotter than the volcano.
Perhaps Chanel started this hype, with their graffiti backpacks that changed the way we dress. I mean, what’s cooler in the summer than carrying a graffiti-painted, self-made charms (the ones you put together when you get bored in the classroom) bag on your back and combined with street style fashion? I was skeptical at first until I spotted a few bloggers styling it, and they looked darn good.
Naturally, three of the four new Louis Vuitton backpacks need to be printed with the iconic monogram canvas. The design is strenghtend with two buckles non the front. It features two side pockets and a handle on the top. Are you read to climb the mountain?
Another one that Louis Vuitton is going to be released, is much more streamlined. Monogram Canvas is prohibited and it features a simple bucket closure on the front. It doesn’t even have side pockets. If you belief as much as I do, that simplicity is ultimate sophistication, then here you go.
Btw, the last Louis Vuitton backpack is also perfect for work. It’s easy and effortless.
